With band members of Atsmevu moving on to pursue various arts projects throughout the UK. The chore remained in Glasgow finding a base in The Annexe community centre in Partick. and evolving into the community drumming band Partick Beat in 1995.
Partick Beat are still providing workshops for Scottish communities, schools and special needs groups and performing at festivals each year.
